HMV NSS Volunteers participated in "Swachh Bharat Summer Internship"

The NSS Volunteers of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya participated in "Swachh Bharat Summer Internship 2019-20" under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr . (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen with full enthusiasm. Under this program, the students started a campaign of 50 hours in the village Jandusingha. This internship was divided into two phases. In the first phase, much work was done under information, education & Communication. The students imparted valuable information on swachhata. The School walls were painted by NSS Volunteers. A nukkad natak was also performed. In the 2^nd phase the students enlightened the villagers regarding Solid Waste Management. They told the villagers about the hazards of using plastic. Sarpanch of Jandu Singha also appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers. Under this campaign, a rally was also organised. Principal Prof. Dr . (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that HMV always participates in social work, especially Swachhata. NSS officers Mrs. Veena Arora & Dr. Anjana Bhatia also encouraged the students. On this occasion Mr. Harmanu & Mrs. Pawan Kumari, Asst. Program Officers are also present. On this occasion, NSS Program Officer Dr. Anjana Bhatia also encouraged the students for Swachhata. Program officer Mrs. Veena Arora also motivated the students to become a part of Swachhata Abhiyaan. Asst. Program Officer Ms. Harmanu was also present there.
