The department of Bioinformatics, Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya, Jalandhar has been offering a number of courses in this area
including B.Sc. Medical/Non-Medical
with Bioinformatics, M.Sc. Bioinformatics and Add-on course in Bioinformatics. In fact, HMV is the only college in
the State offering M.Sc. in
Bioinformatics. Candidate from various backgrounds can join this course
including bachelor's degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary,
Fishery Sciences, Horticulture, Pharmacy, Engineering, Technology or Medicine
(MBBS/ BAMS / BHMS). Additionally, the add-on courses in Bioinformatics can
be opted as an additional subject during the graduation and this course is open
