The Youth Welfare
Department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organised a peppy and vibrant show
with Teji Sandhu, a renowned Punjabi Singer under the proficient guidance of Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and co-ordination of Mrs. Navroop, Dean Youth
Welfare.
Mr. Teji Sandhu was
welcomed and honoured with a Phulkari and a planter by Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, Mrs. Navroop, Dr. Ashmeen and Mrs. Veena Arora.
Highlighting the importance of such
cultural shows Dr. Sareen said that these events not only boost the confidence
of the youth but also help them to be rooted in the glorious cultural and
provide good nation builders to the society.
On a nostalgic note, Mr.
Teji Sandhu felt proud of DAV Institutions. He said that HMV is a great name in
the field of education and owns at holistic development of the students. HMV
students have earned name and fame in the field of singing and acting and
brought glory to the institution.
Mr. Teji interacted
with the students about their aims and habits. The enthusiastic students
performed Dance and Gidha. The show will be broadcasted overseas in America and
Canada.
