With a view to equip the students with all
the necessary information on science courses, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is
organizing next webinar under Digital Counseling on Bachelor of Science
(Medical/Non Medical/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics) on 27th
May at 5 PM though facebook live. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen told
that through this webinar, students will be told about various courses
available in college in science streams, career prospects and other facilities
available in college. She told that the science departments of the college have
been recognized as star departments by UGC. The college always strives to work
for providing practical exposure to the students. Research at undergraduate and
post graduate level is promoted. Summer internships are provided to the
students. Industrial visits and training of the students are always stressed
upon. The college oranizes activities throughout the session beyond the
curriculum under DBT and DST. Science departments organize Inspire programs to
inculcate scientific exposure in young minds to choose basic sciences as
career. Dr. Sareen told that the experts of this session will be Dr. Ekta
Khosla, Associate Professor, department of Chemistry and Dean Examination, Dr.
Anjana Bhatia, Dean Equal Opportunity and Dr. Harpreet Singh, Head Department
of Bioinformatics and Coordinator Career Counselling Cell. The interested
