In continuation of online competition 'Pratibha Khoj', H.M.V Collegiate Sr. Sec. school organised competition 'Waste-o- Mania' in order to explore creative instinct of students to
recreate useful and picturesque objects out of waste products. Another
competition 'Rang De Rangoli'was also organised on the theme'Women Power- the Power of Pink. Students
exhibited their talent artistically and demonstrated their creative burst of
energy. Around 40 students participated
in this competition. The tedious task of judgement was performed by Dr.Rakhi (Assistant
Prof, B.D. Deptt.) and Mrs. Navneeta (Assistant Prof, FD deptt.). In
waste-o-mania competition Simran Kaur of SSC- I (Arts)got first position,
Kashishof SSC- I (Arts) got second position and Kriti of SSC- II(com) got third
position.
In Rangoli competition Megha of SSC- II(Arts) won first position and Bhawna of SSC- I (Non-med) got second position. On this occasion, principal
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay sareen appreciated the efforts of students and congratulated
the winners. School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal also
encouraged students to participate in such competitions to develop their motor
skills. Mrs. Divya Chadha was the event incharge of this competition.
