Vidyalaya concluded its online workshop on Foundation course in Sciences. This
foundation course was conducted online through zoom classes. Principal Prof.
Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen told that this foundation course was organized in order to
give an insight of various aspects of science to the students. This seven day
course was divided according to the various fields of science. Dr. Seema
Marwaha, Dr. Sakshi and Mr. Ravi from zoology department told the students
about Haematological Techniques. Mr. Sumit Sharma from Biotechnology department
told the students about Bioprocess engineering. Mr. Sushil Kumar and Mrs. Simmi
Garg explained about Unclear to Nuclear semiconductors. Dr. Harpreet Singh gave
an introduction to Bioinformatics and Biological Databases. Dr. Shaveta, Dr.
Nitika, Mrs. Ramandeep and Ms. Harpreet told the students about fascinating
world of Botany. Dr. Neelam Sharma and Mrs. Deepshikha gave introduction to the
wonderful world of Chemistry. Mrs. Gagandeep told about applications of
Mathematics in various fields. Course Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal told that
this foundation course was a great success and participants gave their feedback
through mentimeter app. Around 42 participants took part in this foundation
course and showed great interest in science. Principal Prof. Dr. Sareen
congratulated science faculty and coordinator for the success of the foundation
course.
