HMV offering courses under Community College scheme of UGC


Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is always moving ahead towards education, employment and empowerment of women. The college is offering one year/two year diplomas under community college scheme of UGC. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen told that these community college diplomas are very much beneficial for the students who are interested to go abroad. These courses include Advance Diploma in Fashion Designing (2 year), Diploma in Journalism and Media, Diploma in Organic Farming, Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality, Diploma in Medical Lab Technology and Diploma in Nanny and Elderly Health Care. Coordinator Community College Mrs. Meenakshi Syal told that the seats in these diplomas are limited. Their fee structure is nominal and these courses are globally recognized. More emphasis is given on practical work. The Sector Skill Council of India takes the skill assessment of the students and certifies them.  The coaching to the students is provided by industrial experts and academicians of national repute. The eligibility of these courses in +2 in any stream. The college has several industrial tie-ups for the smooth running of the course and training of the students. Principal Dr. Sareen told that 100% placement assistance is also given to the students through placement cell of the college. The admission in these courses is open now.
