The Placement Cell
of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is working tirelessly for the placement of
its students. The Placement Cell of the college was established in the year
2000. It is providing 100 percent placement assistance to all its final year
students under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. Under her guidance, the cell keeps on
organizing placement activities throughout the year for the final year
students. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen told that choice of career is
one of the most important and critical decision as soon as student completes
graduation/post graduation. She said that the placement cell of the college is
continuously working by giving the students awareness and career opportunities
through the various campus placement drives. Throughout the year, Placement
cell works on activities related to the placements so that it can provide 100%
placement to all the interested students and motivates all the students of
various streams for opting career opportunity for self empowerment. Mr.
Gullagong, Placement Officer of the college told that different multinational
companies visit the college campus for placement drives. Our students are
placed in companies like Deloitte, Capgemini, Infosys, My Digital Marketing
Tips, eClerx, Dainik Savera, The Knowledge Hub, Adaah Couture, Nikhil and
Ravindra Couture, Evergreen Publishers, Milestone Education, etc. The selected
students get package in LPA. He told that few companies offered sponsored
Higher Education to the selected students. The college also conducted the
online selection exam of SAP labs, Bangalore. The Placement Cell also arranges
Industrial tours for the students so that the students should have clear idea
about working environment and nature of different jobs. During lockdown period
also, the cell is active in conducting online placement drive of Wipro for the
students of B.Com., BBA and B.Sc. Economics. WIPRO has offered Post Graduate
Diploma in Business Management to the selected candidates from a reputed
management institute. The students also participate in Punjab Government’s Ghar
Ghar Rozgar Yojna drive.
