The PG Department of Computer Sc.
& IT of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized an
International webinar on the topic “An Insight into Industrial Technologies”
under the aegis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell. Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda,
Webinar Series Coordinator welcomed the resource persons and all the
participants. The webinar started with the Gayatri Mantra and the motivational
speech of the Head of the Institute, Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. She
encouraged the participants to attend more and more such webinars to gain
knowledge about the latest technologies and about their application in
industry. Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Head of the computer science department shared
the highlights of the department.
The first resource person Mr.
Sanjeev Gupta, Engineering Director, Site Lead, Google Cloud Systems Bangalore
delivered his talk on the topic “Covid 19- How is world changing?”. He also
discussed the opening opportunities for students and upcoming professionals.
Another resource person Mrs. Bindu Soni Sharma Lead Engineer Altisource
Business Solutions Pvt Ltd. Bangalore discussed on the topic Data center to
cloud transformation. She explained the services offered by cloud providers and
the key factors to cloud migration. She also discussed how to mitigate cloud
computing risk. Answering the query of the participant, Mrs. Bindu Soni told
that prerequisite to come in the field of Cloud computing is Entry level
certification. The last speaker of the day, Mr. Aashish Gupta, Technical
Consulting Engineer at Cisco Australia, gave his presentation on the topic-
Automation for Cisco Solutions. He discussed the primary attributes of next
generation programmatic interfaces, and the purpose of JSON dumps method. He
also explained the valid options to authenticate using an API and the options
that can be used to view the JSON response from an API call.
All the speakers explained the
concepts very effectively and made the session very interactive and interesting
by showing the videos. The whole webinar was very fruitful and informative. Mr.
Anil Bhasin, Associate Professor, informed the participants about the upcoming
Short Term course on Computer Language ASP.Net which will further benefit the
participants. The session ended with the vote of thanks presented by HOD Dr.
Sangeeta Arora. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of
IQAC Coordinator Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur and technical team.
