Maha Vidyalaya organized a Digital Counseling Session on “Managing Stress in
Pandemic: Challenges or Threat”. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen welcomed
all the participants. Dr. Ashmeen Kaur, Head of Psychology department
sensitized the students about career opportunities choosing psychology as a subject
and she also explained the advantage edge of B.Voc. Mental Health Counseling.
Dr. Baljinder Singh, Head of Sociology department highlighted that sociology is
a very promising subject chosen by aspirants during UPSC examination. Dr.
Ashmeen Kaur communicated the viewers about different types of stress. She also
explained about how to bounce back the problems with self confidence and
motivated the students to do work with commitment.
This webinar was
the last enlightening concluding session of three month long journey of webinar
series organized under the able guidance of dynamic and energetic Principal
Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. She apprised the faculty about their responsibility
to make students aware about various courses and their career prospects during
lockdown period of pandemic COVID-19 when students could participate on virtual
platform. She motivated the students in each webinar and asked them to utilize
quality time. One week duration workshop in the field of Multimedia, Design,
Science, Computer Science, Fashion Designing and Cosmetology were conducted
through Zoom platform. Overwhelming response of participants inspired the
organizers about their responsibility towards stakeholders.

program coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal told that overwhelming response of
participants inspired us to conduct series of 20 webinars based on digital
counseling by experts of various fields. Knowledge of experts enlightened the
viewers and unveiled the light in the path of stakeholders. She motivated the
students to make right decision about their career at undergraduate level. Hans
Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is running four year degree course in BD, BFA and
Multimedia, three year vocational degree program with certification from Sector
Skill Council along with traditional BA, BCA, BBA, B.Com. One year program of
Library and Information Science (B.Lib) has been introduced this year which the
students can join after graduation.

series. She said that HMV left no stone unturned in providing digital
counseling to the students which will help them in choosing their career. Dr.
Anjana Bhatia, Head of Botany department actively participated as moderator in
all these webinars. Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal Program Coordinator proposed formal
vote of thanks and expressed her gratitude for team members Mr. Sushil and Mrs.
Rama. Technical support team headed by Mr. Jagjit Bhatia proved to be backbone
