Inter Class e-Essay Writing Competition organised by HMV
Dedicated to 400th
Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji, the PG Department of English and
Budding Brontes Society, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar orgainsed
Inter Class e- Essay Writing competition under the encouraging support of
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and coordination of Mrs. Mamta, HOD,
English. The main theme was ‘Self-Sacrifice as a tradition in Sikhism with a
special focus on Martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji.’ Students expressed
their views profoundly depicting the great sacrifices of Sikhs for the welfare
of society.
Km. Jaspreet won the first
position in the competition, followed by Km. Aditi on the second position and Km.
Simmi on the third position. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen lauded the efforts of
the department for organizing such competitions to engage and motivate the
students. She congratulated the participants and winners of the competitions.
The competitions were judged
by Mrs. Mamta and Mrs. Kranti Wadhwa, assisted by Mrs. Lovleen Kaur.
