Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a national webinar on 400th Birth
Anniversary of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji under the able guidance of Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The webinar was started by Webinar series
co-incharge Mrs. Kuljit Kaur. Resource persons were Dr. Karamjit Kaur Malhotra,
Assistant Professor in department of Punjab Historical Studies, Punjabi
University, Patiala and Dr. Maneshwar Singh Kondal, an Engineer and
motivational speaker. Dr. Karamjit Kaur beautifully depicted the life of Guru
Teg Bahadur Ji from their early life to martyrdom. She also highlighted the
socio-political aspect prevailing at the time of martyrdom of Guru Ji. Dr.
Maneshwar Singh Kondal, elaborate the philosophy and teachings of Guru Teg
Bahadur Ji. He said that today’s youth should walk on the path of Guru Ji.
Mrs. Navroop Kaur Webinar series incharge
and Head of Punjabi Department recited a beautiful and emotional poem on Guru
Teg Bahadur Ji. Mrs. Potima HOD of History Department conducted question hour
session. Teachers, students and research scholars participated in this webinar.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the coordinator Mrs. Nita
Malik HOD, Political Science Department and Moderator Mrs. Alka Sharma
Assistant Professor, Political Science Department for the success of the
webinar. She said that such webinar helps to motivate our youth towards moral
values. Dr. Jeevan Devi was also present.
