The
Sociology department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized an
international webinar on 400th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Teg
Bahadur Ji under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. The
webinar was started by Webinar series incharge and Head of Punjabi Department
Mrs. Navroop Kaur. The resource person in this webinar was S. Apinder Singh,
Research Scholar, Sikh Centre, Singapore. He told about the life, teachings,
martyrdom of Guru Ji and his contribution in Sikh religion. He talked in
detailed about the sacrifice and fearlessness of Guru ji. He also represented
the image of Aurangazeb in Sikh history in a novel way.
Teachers,
students and research scholars participated in this webinar. Principal Prof.
Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen congratulated the Head of Sociology department Dr.
Baljinder Singh for the success of the webibar. She said that such webinar help
to motivate our youth towards moral values. Moderator of the webinar was Dr.
Baljinder Singh. He also thanked the participants and the technical team for
