The Principal,
teaching and non-teaching staff members paid tribute to Dr. Pranab Mukherjee on
his demise by remembering short time spent with him in Rashtrapati Bhawan
during a visit. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen recalled the time of March
2017 when under her leadership, few teachers and students visited Rashtrapati
Bhawan and spent some time there with the then President of India Dr. Pranab
Mukherjee. She said that HMV is fortunate to get second chance to visit
Rashtrapati Bhawan in the same year in May. A group of teaching and
non-teaching staff members visited Rashtrapati Bhawan in May 2017. Dr. Sareen
said that HMV is fortunate to meet Dr. Pranab Mukherjee twice. He was a simple
man with impressive personality. HMV students felt proud in sharing the moment
of meeting Dr. Pranab Mukherjee. Dr. Sareen said that during this short meeting
of 5 minutes, Dr. Pranab Mukherjee asked students about their future plans.
This shows his concern for youth. Dr. Sareen said that HMV students will always
do their sincere efforts to fulfill his expectations.
