MahaVidyalaya organised a webinar to create awareness and sensitise people that
life is precious on World Suicide Prevention Day under the able guidance of
Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen and Head of the department of Psychology
Dr. Ashmeen Kaur.
"Suicides
are preventable.", "Let's work together, to prevent suicides."
This began with an introductory note on the topic by Kritagyta followed by
other students who gave their views in the form of poetry, speech, PPT,
etc. Around 30 students shared their
views on causes, present statistics world over and India in particular and also
the preventive measures.
Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of the department. She said that Suicide doesn't take away the pain, it gives to someone else. And in this stressful environment, students must learn to cope up with difficult situations. For this, students must be mentally strong. In the end, Dr. Ashmeen Kaur consolidated the theme and motivated the students.On this occasion Dr. Venus Goyal & Ms. Anjana were also present. The stage was conducted by Kritagyta.
