The
saga of sustained excellence and pioneering achievements in academic and extra
curricular domain i.e. the Annual Report 2020-21 of HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec.
School was released under the august and sagacious leadership of Principal Prof.
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. It has been the earnest endeavour of HMV Collegiate Sr.
Sec. School to be the centre of rigorous thinking and high impact
transformative education to the senior secondary students and with the sincere
and collective efforts of authorities, faculty and students, it consolidates
its position over the years as a much aspired hub of learning. With the best of
faculty and infrastructure, the school has been churning out toppers year after
year. 60 students of SSC-II and SSC-I scored above 90% marks in the Board Exams
and soaring at greater heights of success by getting admissions in the renowned
Medical and Engineering colleges as well as Foreign Unviersities. Due to
COVID-19 which has impacted our lives drastically, the dedicated faculty and
the students take E-avatars. The online education mode constantly be the
illuminating source of transmitting knowledge to the students in HMV Collegiate
Sr. Sec. School. HMV Collegiate School remains committed to continually nurture
students’ talents and in this series the students brought laurels to the school
by securing international ranking in IT, English, Maths, Science and Commerce
Olympiad. The school seeks to channelize the students to make them the
responsible citizens of the country by organizing numerous competitions, live
discussions, quizzes, extempore, science and commerce exhibitions, power point
presentations, role play, business plans and many more events. In order to
nurture the students to grow holistically Pratibha Khoj (Intra-School) and
Aayam (Intra School) events were conducted. Yoga programs were also organized
to rejuvenate the minds of the students. HMV Collegiate school believes that
only through true knowledge the spirit is liberated. Keeping this dictum in
mind, the Innovative Hub for Learning organised expert lectures of eminent
scientists like Padmashree Dr. H.C. Verma, Dr. Y.K. Vijay, Motivational
Speaker, DEO Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Punjab School Education Board. The
Annual Report 2020-21 also entails the efforts and accolades of In House HMV
Competition Hub that provides coaching of JEE, NEET, CA Foundation, Hobby
Classes, Personality Development Course, Spoken English and IELTS preparation.
The school always endevours to instill a sense of community service amongst the
students by actively engaging them in socially responsible innovation ideas.
The Student Council of the school aims at honing the leadership qualities and serves
this purpose. The Annual Report 2020-21 embodies the different cultural events
and students’ Felicitation Program that were organised throughout the year like
Freshers’ Party, Farewell Party, Achievers Day to make the students actively
participated. The Annual Report 2020-21 records rainbow of vibrant
activities, accolades and accomplishments of the faculty and the students of

Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of Coordinator and faculty
of the school to maintain the glory of this institution. She congratulated the
students for their victory in academics, extra curricular and sports
