Amidst the applause and enthusiasm, the marvelous performance
in Music Vocal Classical of Mehak Bains of +1 Arts bagged the first position
in Kala Utsav 2023-24 State Level
Competition after successfully attaining number one positions in the District
and the Zonal level. Kala Utsav is an initiative of the Ministry of Education
(MOE) under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha, to promote arts in education by
nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students at the
secondary stage in the country. She received the trophy and certificate by
distinguished dignitaries Mr. Harjot Singh Bains, Minister of School Education
of Punjab, IAS Kamal Kishore, Secretary School Education, IAS Vinay Bublani,
Special Secretary School Education and by esteemed Judges. Shrishti Jain also
received the certificate of participation in Solo Drama Acting. As supernova
star outshine all the stars in the galaxy in the same manner the students of
HMV Collegiate shine radiantly brighter under the guidance, support and
blessings of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Principal Dr. Sareen
