Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, has once again demonstrated its sporting excellence at
the National Games 2025. The institution takes immense pride in the stellar
achievements of its athletes, who have brought laurels at the prestigious
national event. Harmanpreet displayed exceptional strength and determination,
securing a Gold Medal in Weightlifting, while Surbhi showcased outstanding
precision and skill, winning Bronze Medals in the 3P 50m Rifle category and
another Rifle Shooting event. Their remarkable performances reflect HMV’s
commitment to fostering sports talent and excellence. Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen extended her heartfelt congratulations to the winners,
stating, “Our players continue to make us proud, proving that HMV is a
powerhouse of talent and determination. These victories are a testament to the
hard work of our athletes and the relentless support of our sports faculty.”
She also expressed her gratitude to President DAVCMC Padma Shri Dr. Punam Suri,
Director Higher Education DAVCMC Sh. Shiv Raman Gaur (IAS Retd.), Chairman
Local Advisory Committee Justice (Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud, and the entire DAVCMC
fraternity for their unwavering encouragement in promoting sports excellence at
HMV. The celebration of this historic victory was marked by the presence of
Sports faculty members Dr. Navneet, Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur, and Ms. Pragati, who
applauded the dedication and perseverance of the champions. With these
remarkable achievements, HMV continues to inspire and empower young athletes,
solidifying its legacy as a premier institution for sports and academics.
