The Placement Cell of Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organised a pre-placement talk for the final year student
of UG and PG under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.
Mr. Jagjit Bhatia, the Placement Officer welcomed the resource persons Mr.
Lalit Ahluwalia Director Operations, Davesar Consultants, Mr. Sukhvir Grewal
and Mr. Kanwarpreet Singh Sr. Managers. The seminar commenced with Mr. Lalit
Ahluwalia giving the brief introduction of Davesar Consultants. Mr. Ahluwalia
continued the talk apprising the students of different ways to approach
placement. The only crucial motive is to cover up the gap between the academics
and job requirements. He also motivated the students to join their company that
acts as a bridge between employees and employers and does not share any
information directly with the employers. Mr. Ahluwalia also said that they do
train the applicants for the interviews. Mr. Jagjit Bhatia, incharge of
Placement Cell, informed the students more about the company and also motivated
the students to fill the google form. The whole seminar was interactive and
engaging. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated Placement
Office for this initiative. She said that it is our aim to provide placement to
all the students. At the end of the talk, Mr. Jagjit Bhatia gave vote of thanks
to all the resource persons, teachers, supporting staff and the audience and
concluded the session by motivating and encouraging students to get enrolled
into various placements and certified courses.
