Vidyalaya conducted a one day workshop on Handling Machines “Cut and Sewing”.
Students of Design Department learn the machine setting, lubrication, cleaning,
Needle, replacement, bobbin issues, seam issues, proper maintenance and
troubleshooting of manual and automatic Stitching machines. This workshop improves the efficiency and
productivity of the design students, which is very essential for good output
and safety. The resource person of the workshop was technical expert Mr.
Yashpal Sakarwal. A special lecture on sewing technology in design world was
also taken by Dr. Rakhi Mehta, Head of Design Department during the workshop.
Students of Design Dept. and faculty Ms. Manika and Ms. Ritika learn the
important aspects of sewing and technology. Principal Prof. Dr. Ajay Sareen
congratulated the Department for wonderful initiative and such fruitful
workshops in future.
