Skill Courses Hub and Post Graduate Punjabi Department of Hans
Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, organized a Short Term Course in Punjabi
Typing under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and
Head of Punjabi Department Dr. Navroop Kaur. The incharge of the course was Ms.
Simranjeet Kaur, Asstt. Prof. in Punjabi. The duration of the course was 30
hours. The students participated in this course with full enthusiasm. A special
syllabus was designed for this course and the students were given training
about computer typing. They were also told about the various career
opportunities in Govt. Sector. The students were told about Anmol font through
Unicode. They were given training of typing in Punjabi using English Keyboard.
The students learnt about Grammatical Signs, Essay Writing and Letter Typing
etc. The students were awarded with E-certificates after the completion of the
course. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated Skill Course Hub
incharge Mrs. Binoo Gupta, Dr. Navroop Kaur and Ms. Simranjeet Kaur for
successful completion of the course.
