organized Diamond Night-2025 “Launching Stars in the Sky” for resident scholars
under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Principal
Dr. Ajay Sareen welcomed with green planter by Hostel Coordinator Dr. Meenu
Talwar. The programme started with lighting of the lamp and DAV Gaan was
recited. The resident scholars presented the cultural heritage of their
respective states which included Haryanvi Dance, Dance from Uttrakhand, Bihar,
Himachal and various other forms. The students of final year performed modeling
on stage. BPES student Ms. Mehak Minhas was given the title of Ms. Farewell,
Ms. Arpan from M.A. Pol. Sci was given the title of 1st runner up
and Ms. Sushma from B.A. was adjudged as second runner up. Ms. Charming title
was given to Ms. Kanima from B.A. The judges of the event were Dr. Mamta, Dr.
Seema Khanna and Dr. Ramandeep Kaur. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen encouraged the
students for achieving greater heights in life. She motivated them to always
respect their parents and teachers. All final year students were presented
gifts. Hostel Head girl expressed her feelings and expressed her gratitude
towards Principal and college for making their stay in hostel, a comfortable
one. Hostel Coordinator Dr. Meenu Talwar presented vote of thanks and gave best
wishes to the students. All wardens and Hostel Coordinator were honoured for
their hard work throughout the year. The students enjoyed special Dinner and DJ
in the end and made this programme a
memorable one.
