HMV Organized Lecture on UGC Guidelines for Promotion under CAS

 

The Internal Quality Assurance Awareness Cell of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a lecture on “UGC Guidelines for Promotion under Career Advancement Scheme” (CAS) for the faculty members. The resource person was Dr. Shallu Batra, Associate Professor in Economics. IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ashmeen Kaur welcomed her with a planter. Dr. Shallu Batra provided a comprehensive overview of the CAS, its eligibility criteria and steps involved in applying for promotions. Dr. Batra elaborated on the purpose of the CAS, emphasizing its role in recognizing and rewarding the contributions of faculty members throughout their careers. The participants learned about the necessary documentation and procedure involved in submitting an application for promotion. A dedicated question and answer session allowed participants to clarify any doubts or seek further guidance on CAS. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of IQAC and said that such lectures provide detailed information which is very useful for getting promotion.
