The
Placement Cell of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized an in-campus
Placement Drive for the final year students and Summer Internship Drive for
second year students by Pisoft Informatics, Mohali under the able guidance of
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The resource persons of the event, Mr.
Harish Chawla Vice-president and MD of Pisoft and Mr. Nitin Sharma Business
Development Manager Pisoft, were formally welcomed by Mr. Jagjit Bhatia with
green planters. This drive witnessed an overwhelming response. Final year
students of different degree courses participated in the drive. Students gave interview.
The rigorous selection process included interview, MCQs, and various rounds to
check their mental aptitude. Students were happy and said that the college has
provided an excellent platform to explore good career opportunities. At the
outset of the intership drive, Mr. Sumit Sharma addressed the students,
providing valuable inshight into CV drafting. He also encouraged the students
as they prepare for their careers. Subsequently, Mr. Harish Chawla took the
stage and shared information about Pisoft Informatics and its work in emerging
technologies such as AI, cloud computing, machine learning, etc. He motivated
the students to explore and identify their individual strengths and interests.
He further announced a 45-day Summer Internship for second year BCA and BSc IT
students at Pisoft and outstanding students would have the opportunity to
receive extended training alongside their studies and potential future
opportunities at Pisoft Informatics. Following the session, the students were
asked to participate in an online quiz. Qualification in this quiz would
proceed the students to the next stage of the internship selection process. The
Principal of the college Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of the
Placement Cell that provides an excellent opportunity to the students and
congratulated the faculty and the students.
She wished them luck for bright future. On this occasion, Mr. Jagjit
Bhatia, Incharge Placement Cell, Mr. Parminder Singh and Mr. Sumit Sharma were
also present.
