HMV Sweeps National EduTrust Awards with Overall Sustainability Excellence and Leadership Honours


 

 Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya  Jalandhar, has once again affirmed its status as a frontrunner in academic innovation and sustainability, winning the prestigious Overall Sustainability Excellence Award 2025–26 conferred by the National EduTrust of India. Among all participating institutions from across the country, HMV stood out as a beacon of environmental commitment and academic excellence, sweeping every category it applied for. Under the visionary leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, the college was also lauded with top honours in the following award categories: Zero-Waste Campus Award 2025–26, Green Campus Award 2025–26, Water Guardians Award 2025–26, Sustainable Entrepreneurship & Innovation Award 2025–26. These accolades collectively earned HMV the Overall State Excellence Title, marking it as the top institution in Punjab for its sustainable practices and transformative educational ecosystem. Adding to this celebration of success, Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen was felicitated with the coveted Award of Honour for Best Principal 2025–26, in recognition of her dynamic leadership, unwavering dedication, and efforts in creating a future-ready learning environment rooted in green values and societal relevance. Dr. Sareen has consistently driven initiatives that blend real-world skills with academic learning, nurturing young minds to become responsible citizens and change-makers. In another proud moment for the institution, Dr. Anjana Bhatia, a  faculty member, received the Award of Honour for  2025–26. The college’s resounding success was acknowledged by Chief Patron Dr. Punam Suri, Padma Shri Awardee and President, DAV College Managing Committee (DAVCMC), New Delhi, who extended heartfelt congratulations to Principal Dr. Sareen and the entire team. He expressed confidence that under such inspiring leadership, the college will continue scaling greater heights. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen, while expressing her gratitude for the national recognition, thanked the National EduTrust of India for bestowing these honours. She also acknowledged the relentless support of DAV mentors including Dr. Punam Suri, Sh.
