Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya (HMV),
Jalandhar, achieved another proud milestone as it was declared a Special
College and invited to present its achievements at the Meeting of the Task
Force under the DBT Star College Programme, held at Hindu College, University
of Delhi. HMV was featured in the prestigious Panel Discussion titled
“Transformative Journeys of Colleges under the Star College Programme.” Dr.
Anjana Bhatia, DBT Star College Coordinator, delivered a powerful presentation
highlighting HMV’s transformational journey through the programme. The
presentation focused on the college’s key achievements, including the
development of a vibrant research culture, upgradation of laboratories, and
increased student engagement in scientific activities. HMV celebrated this
proud recognition with great enthusiasm, where all Science faculty members came
together to mark the occasion. Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha, Mrs.
Deepshikha, Dr. Saloni, Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Dr. Jatinder, Dr. Harpreet Singh,
and the entire Science faculty were present at the event, showcasing the
strength, unity, and commitment of the institution. The celebration reflected
the collaborative spirit and academic dedication that drives the institution’s
excellence. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated the Science faculty for
this national honour and commended Dr. Anjana Bhatia for articulating HMV’s
accomplishments with clarity and impact. She praised the team's ongoing efforts
toward promoting scientific innovation, research-based education, and student
empowerment. This recognition as a Special College under the DBT Star College
