The
Academic Session 2025-26 commenced on the pious notes of Havan Yajna at Hans
Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar under the dynamic guidance of Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Principal Sareen extended warm welcome to Justice
(Retd.) N. K. Sud Vice President DAVCMC & Chairman DAVLMC, Dr (Mrs.) Sushma
Chawla member LC, Mr. Surendra Seth member LC, Mr. S. P. Sehdev member LC. The
inaugural Havan was organized by Vedic Society under Dr. Mamta and Dr. Meenu
Talwar. Everyone joined hands in chanting the holy mantras and invoking the
blessings of the Almighty for the new session. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen
extended a warm welcome to the new entrants to HMV. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen
expressed her delight over the numerous awards to the credit of HMV as The Week
edjudged HMV ranked no. 1 in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce & Mass
Comm. She also acknowledged the contribution of every HMVian in taking HMV to
the apex of glory. She felicitated the new students on joining the institution
and assured them that the faculty and staff of HMV will help them fulfil their
dreams and achieve their goals. HMV will carve them like diamonds to bring out
their luster and sheen. She also said that HMV is a pioneer institution of DAV
and a great name in the field of education. Justice (Retd.) N. K. Sud Vice
President DAVCMC & Chairman DAVLMC also extended best wishes to the
students and motivated them to work hard to achieve success. The stage was
conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia. The Havan Yajna concluded with the recital of
Shanti Path.
