The
department of Mass Communication and Video Production of Hans Raj Mahila
celebrated World Radio Day. Mr.
Gaurav Maini aka RJ Garry from My FM 94.3 was the chief speaker on this
occasion. Script writer Mr. Amit was
also with him. Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed them with a bouquet of flowers.
RJ Garry addressed the students of
the department and gave tips about the style and presentation of Radio
programme. He convinced the students to
be active on social media and use it positively to promote themselves on this
platform. He also shared his personal
experiences and motivated the students to do something extraordinary in the
field of mass communication. During
interactive session, he answered the queries regarding radio scripts, radio
shows and presentation style.
Scriptwriter Mr. Amit gave some tips about writing the scripts for radio
shows and commercials. He said that
observation is the key to the success of being good copywriter. He encouraged the students to stay positive
and learn new things emerged in the field of writing. After that, links of teachers and students on
World Radio Day were recorded. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that
radio is the most powerful medium of communication. Its popularity is still increasing day by
day. Head of Mass Communication
department Mrs. Rama Sharma said that the department has given an opportunity
to the students through campus ‘Radio Awaaz’ to learn the art of Radio Jockeying
and script writing. On this occasion,
Mrs. Navroop, Dean Youth Welfare, Mrs. Kuljit Kaur, Dean Holistic Growth, Mrs.
Ramnita Saini Sharda, Dean Innovative Practices, Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Nidhi
Bal, Mrs. Jyoti Sehgal and Mrs. Nivedita Khosla were also present.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਮ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ ਦੇ ਮਾਸ ਕਮਯੂਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਡੀਡਿਓ ਪੋਡਕਸ਼ਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਰਲਡ ਰੇਡਿਓ ਡੇ ਮਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਬਤੌਰ ਮੁਕਤ ਵਕਤਾ ਮਾਈ ਐਫ.ਐਮ. 94.3 ਤੋਂ ਗੋਰਵ ਮੈਨੀ ਆਰ.ਜੇ. ਗੈਰੀ ਤੇ ਸ´ਿਪਟ ਰਾਇਟਰ ਅਮਿਤ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪੋ. ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਆਰ.ਜੇ. ਗੈਰੀ ਨੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੁੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਰੇਡਿਓ ਪੋਗਾਮ ਦੇ ਪਸਤੁਤਿਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਸਟਾਇਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਟਿਪਸ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡਿਆ ਤੇ ਏਕਟਿਵ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਸਦੁਯਪੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਨੂੰਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਰੂਪ ਨਾਲ ਪੋਮੋਟ ਕਰ ਸਕਨ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਗਤ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਵੀ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਜਨਸੰਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ 'ਚ ਕੁਝ ਅਲੱਗ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪੋਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇੰਟਰਏਕਟਿਵ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਰੇਡਿਓ ਸ´ਿਪਟ, ਰੇਡਿਓ ਸ਼ੋ ਅਤੇ ਪਸਤੁਤਿਕਰਨ ਸਟਾਇਲ ਦੇ ਸੰਦਰਭ 'ਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਸ´ਿਪਟ ਰਾਇਟਰ ਅਮਿਤ ਨੇ ਸ´ਿਪਟ ਲੇਖਨ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਟਿਪਸ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੰਗਾਂ ਸ´ਿਪਟ ਰਾਇਟਰ ਬਨਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਨਿਰੀਖਣ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਸੋਚ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਖਣ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ 'ਚ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰਸਿੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਪੇਰਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਰਲਡ ਰੇਡਿਓ ਡੇ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੇ ¦ਿਕ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਪਿੰ ਡਾ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ 'ਚੋਂ ਰੇਡਿਓ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦੀ ਪਸਿੱਧੀ ਹਰ ਦਿਨ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਮਾਸ ਕਮਯੂਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁਖੀ ਰਮਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਰੇਡਿਓ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਦੇ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਰੇਡਿਓ ਜਾੱਕੀ ਤੇ ਸ´ਿਪਟ ਰਾਇਟਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਗੁਰ ਸਿਖਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਡੀਨ ਯੂਥ ਵੈਲਫੇਅਰ ਨਵਰੂਪ ਕੌਰ, ਡੀਨ ਹੋਲਿਸਟਿਕ ਕੁਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਡੀਨ ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਰਮਨੀਤਾ ਸੈਣੀ ਸ਼ਾਰਦਾ, ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟਿਆ, ਡਾ. ਨਿਧੀ ਕੋਛੜ, ਜੋਤੀ ਸਹਿਗਲ, ਨਿਵੇਦਿਤਾ ਖੋਸਲਾ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
