Blood Donation Camp organized at HMV

The Youth Red Cross Society, Red Ribbon Club and NSS Unit of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a Blood Donation Camp under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen in collaboration with PAHAL.  On this occasion, President PAHAL organization Prof. Lakhbir Singh said that it is tough to maintain the required blood level in the body as we are in the habit of eating junk foods in our fast life.  Most of the girls are anemic because of which they are not in a position to donate blood.  He stressed on eating nutritious food.  The Incharge of blood bank team of Shaheed Babu Labh Singh Civil Hospital Dr. Gagandeep Singh with his team members was also present there.  In this blood donation camp, Deptt. of District Youth Services also extended their cooperation.  On this occasion, Incharge Youth Red Cross Society Mrs. Deepshikha, Dr. Aarti Sharma, Incharge Red Ribbon Club Mrs. Kuljeet Kaur, Mrs. Gagandeep, Incharge NSS Mrs. Veena Arora, Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Mrs. Alka Sharma, Ms. Harmanu, Office Supdt. Mr. Amarjit Khanna, Hostel Supdt. Mr. Lakhwinder Singh were also present.  The members of teaching and non teaching staff also donated blood.  Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts.

ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ ਦੇ ਰੈਡ ਕਰਾਸ, ਰੈਡ ਰਿਬਨ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪੋ. ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਹੇਠ ‘ਪਹਿਲ' ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਕੈਂਪ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।  ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਚੇਤਨਾ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਹਿੰਦਿਆ ਪੋ. ਲਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਧਾਨ ‘ਪਹਿਲ' ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੌੜ ਭੱਜ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਸ਼ੈਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਸਟ ਫੂਡ ਖੂਨ ਦੀ ਮਿਕਦਾਰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਹੈ ਪਾਸ ਕਰ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਖੂਨ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਪਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹ ਯੋਗ ਖੂਨਦਾਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਖੁਰਾਕ ਤੇ ਬਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ।  ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਬਾਬੂ ਲਾਭ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿਵਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦੀ ਬਲੱਡ ਬੈਂਕ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਡਾ. ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਖੂਨ ਇਕੱਤਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿਲਾ ਯੁਵਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਭਾਂਗ ਨੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ।  ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਰੈਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਦੇ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਪੋ. ਦੀਪਸ਼ਿਖਾ, ਡਾ. ਆਰਤੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਰੈਡ ਰਿਬਨ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਪੋ. ਕੁਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਪੋ. ਗਗਨਦੀਪ, ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਪੋ. ਵੀਨਾ ਅਰੋੜਾ, ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟਿਆ, ਪੋ. ਅਲਕਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਪੋ. ਹਰਮਨੂ ਪਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਸੀ ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਖੰਨਾ, ਸੀ ਲਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।  ਨਾਨ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੈਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
