Vidyalaya, a pioneer institute dedicated to the cause of women empowerment for
more than 90 years and well known for its unique initiatives is organizing a Summer Finishing School for the
students under the visionary guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.
Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen said that the finishing school is meant to enable the
girl students to have a fun-filled learning experience and train them in
various fields of skill enhancement and personality development. Such
initiatives are intended to increase the confidence of girls and make them
self-reliant as well. During the 10 day finishing school, students will learn
numerous innovative things in the area of fashion designing, cooking,
cosmetology, home science, screen printing, block printing, fitness and
well-being, stitching, moral education, gift wrapping, RJ & Anchoring
bouquet making, dance and music, graphic animation etc. The 10 day Finishing
school will start on 14th may, 2018. Principal Dr Sareen said that
students should enthusiastically participate in the finishing school. Dr Anjana
Bhatia, Incharge, HMV Finishing School said that the finishing school is especially modelled so
that students are well-nurtured and ready for every challenge that life has to
throw their way. She said that students
can contact at college reception for further queries. There is no age limit for finishing
school. Any female of any age group can
join the finishing school.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ ਪਿਛਲੇ 90 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਾਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਗੇ ਵੱਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਕਦਮ ਹੋਰ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਨਿਸ਼ਿੰਗ ਸਕੂਲ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਫਿਨਿਸ਼ਿੰਗ ਸਕੂਲ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਂਤਰਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਕਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਖਾਰਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਤਵ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਯੋਜਨ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਤਮ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਤਮ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਵੀ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਦਸ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਫਿਨਿਸ਼ਿੰਗ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨਿੰਗ, ਕੁਕਿੰਗ, ਕਾਸਮਟਾਲੋਜੀ, ਹੋਮ ਸਾਇੰਸ, ਸ´ੀਨ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟਿੰਗ, ਬਲਾਕ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟਿੰਗ, ਫਿਟਨੇਸ, ਸਟੀਚਿੰਗ, ਨੈਤਿਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਗਿਫਟ ਰੈਪਿ³ਗ, ਆਰ.ਜੇ. ਐਂਡ ਐਂਕਰਿੰਗ, ਬੁਕੇ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ, ਡਾਂਸ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਊਜ਼ਿਕ, ਗ੍ਰਾਫਿਕਸ ਐਨੀਮੇਸ਼ਨ ਆਦਿ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵÄ-ਨਵÄ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਸਿਖਾਇਆ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਦਸ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਫਿਨਿਸ਼ਿੰਗ ਸਕੂਲ 14 ਮਈ ਤੋਂ ਆਰੰਭ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸਾਹਪੂਰਵਕ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ. ਫਿਨਿਸ਼ਿੰਗ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟੀਆ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਫਿਨਿਸ਼ਿੰਗ ਸਕੂਲ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਬਿਲ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵੱਧ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕਾਲਜ ਰਿਸੈਪਸ਼ਨ ਤੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਫਿਨਿਸ਼ਿੰਗ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਰਗ ਦੀ ਲੜਕੀ ਜਾਂ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਭਾਗ ਲੈ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
