Students of HMV visited Walkwel Technologies, Mohali

The Computer Club of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized an educational trip to IT Company Walkwel Technologies, Quark City, IT Park, Mohali.  The objective of this visit was to make the students learn and get acquainted with the environment of an IT company.  The students were accompanied by teachers Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Mr. Gullagong, Mrs. Urvashi Mishra and Ms. Neha.  The Director and representatives of the company welcomed the teachers and the students.  They gave a brief introduction of their company.  Their representative made the students aware about digital marketing, computer languages and new technologies.  Students also asked their queries regarding new technologies and career tips.  The company representative also told the students that they made a project through which they can check who is hacking and what he/she is hacking at which corner of the world.  The students were overwhelmed by viewing their company.

In addition, the students also visited Sukhna Lake and Sector 17 at Chandigarh.  Principal Prof. Dr.(Mrs.)Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of Computer Science Deptt. and said that visit to such a place is of educational importance for computer students.  Head of Computer Science Department Dr. Sangeeta Arora also gave her best wishes to the students for their bright future.

ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ ਦੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਵਲੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਕੰਪਨੀ ਵਾਕਵੈਲ ਟੈਕਨਾਲਾਜੀ, ਕਵਾਰਕ ਸਿਟੀ, ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਪਾਰਕ, ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਟਿਪ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਟਿਪ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਰੂ-ਬ-ਰੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਸੀ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਗੁੱਲਾਗਾਂਗ, ਉਰਵਸ਼ੀ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਨੇਹਾ ਨਾਲ ਗਏ। ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ।  ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਿਜਿਟਲ ਮਾਰਕੀਟਿੰਗ, ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਲੈਂਗੂਏਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਨਵÄ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਟਿਪਸ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਐਸਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ  ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਧਿਯਮ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੌਣ ਦੁਨਿਆ ਦੇ ਕਿਸ ਕੌਣੇ ਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਕੀ ਹੈਕ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕਾਫੀ ਉਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਸਨ।

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ• ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਖਨਾ ਝੀਲ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਕਟਰ 17 ਦਾ ਵੀ ਦੌਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਕੌਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸਰਾਹਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਟਿਪ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਮਹਤੱਤਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਣ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖੀ ਡਾ. ਸੰਗੀਤਾ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਭ ਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।
