10 days Bhangra Workshop concluded at HMV

The Dance Department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organised ten days Bhangra workshop in the college premises in collaboration with Soul Shakers Academy, Jalandhar. This workshop was held from 18^th June to 27^th June. Mr. Harjot Singh and Mr. Sarvesh from Soul Shakers Academy were there as resource persons. The timings of the workshop were 2 hours every day. The participants were told about the basic 15 steps of Punjabi folk dances, i.e., Bhangra, Sammi and Luddi. The students from all age groups participated in this workshop to learn Bhangra. In the end of the workshop, the participants said that it was a beautiful experience to learn the Punjabi folk dances here.  Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen congratulated the participants and workshop Incharge Dr. Pooja Minhas, HOD, Dance Department for the success of the workshop.

 ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਡਾਂਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਸ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਭੰਗੜਾ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਪਨ ਮਸਾਰੋਹ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।  ਇਸ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਸੋਲ ਸ਼ੇਕਰਸ ਅਕਾਦਮੀ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ 18 ਜੂਨ ਤੋਂ 27 ਜੂਨ ਤੱਕ ਹਰ ਦਿਨ 2 ਘੰਟੇ ਲਈ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਸੋਲ ਸ਼ੇਕਰਸ ਅਕਾਦਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਸਰਵੇਸ਼ ਬਤੌਰ ਰਿਸੋਰਸ ਪਰਸਨ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾਗਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਫੋਕ ਡਾਂਸ ਭੰਗੜਾ, ਲੁੱਡੀ ਤੇ ਸੱਮੀ ਦੇ ਬੇਸਿਕ ਸਟੇਪ ਸਿਖਾਏ। ਇਸ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ 'ਚ ਹਰ ਉਮਰ ਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾਗੀ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ 'ਚ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾਗਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਸ ਦਿਨਾਂ 'ਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੁਝ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾਗਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਡਾ. ਪੂਜਾ ਮਿਨਹਾਸ, ਡਾਂਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁਖੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਤੇ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
