HMV organized Nutrition Week

Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized Nutrition Week under the able and skillful guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.  Various competitions were organized i.e. Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Declamation and Innovative Healthy Fireless Cooking competition.  Topics for competition were Junk Food, Health and Nutrition and Lifestyle disorders.  Students from different streams i.e. Commerce, Science, Computer Science and Humanities participated in these events.

                The judges for the competitions were Dr. Seema Marwaha, Miss Shama Sharma, Dr. Rakhi Mehta, Dr. Nidhi Bal and Dr. Aarti Sharma.  In Slogan Writing competition, Palkin from B.Com. Sem. III stood first, Harshita from SSC II Non Medical stood second and Vandana from B.Sc. Comp.Sc. II stood third.

                In Poster making competition Harshita from SSC II Non Medical stood first, Gursimran of PGD Fashion Designing and Garment Construction stood second and Palkin of B.Com. Sem. III stood third.

                In Declamation, Radhika of M.Com. I stood first, Manvi Chopra of B.Sc. Med. Sem. III stood second and Vanshika from B.Com. Sem. III and Nobel from SSC I Humanities stood third.

                For Innovative healthy fireless cooking competition, 43 pairs of students participated.  In which Dhreeti and Bhawna of SSC II Humanities stood first.  Manisha and Kiran of B.A.III Sem. stood second.  Third position was bagged by two groups Vasudha and Manpreet of B.Sc. Medical III and Ridhi from SSC I Humanities.  Akanksha and Swati of B.Sc. Sem. V got consolation.

                Mrs. Neety Sood, HOD Home Science and Mrs. Aishwarya Kohli and Mrs. Divya Chadha of Home Sc. Department organized the event.
