Laj of M.A. Sem. II Music Vocal of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya outshined in
Inter University National Youth Festival held at Chandigarh University,
Mohali. She enthralled the judges and
audience with her performance in Gazal and bagged first position. She represented GNDU as a team member. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and
Mrs. Navroop, Dean Youth Welfare Dept., congratulated Laj and Head of PG Dept. of Music Vocal Dr. Prem
Sagar for this outstanding performance at the National level. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said
that college has always provided opportunities to the students to showcase
their talent at National and intrnational level. She appreciated the dedication shown by Laj
in this National Youth Festival. Km. Laj
gave the credit of her success to her mentor Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen and Mr. Parduman Narang.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੀ ਕੁ. ਲਾਜ ਨੇ ਇੰਟਰ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਯੂਥ ਫੈਸਟੀਵਲ 'ਚ ਜੀ.ਐਨ.ਡੀ.ਯੂ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੰਬਰ ਇਕ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਗਜਲ ਗਾਇਨ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇੰਟਰ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਯੂਥ ਫੈਸਟੀਵਲ-2019 ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਚ ਹੋਇਆ। ਗਜ਼ਲ ਗਾਇਨ 'ਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੁਨਰ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਜ ਨੇ ਜੱਜ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਮਾਂਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰ. ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਤੇ ਡੀਨ ਯੂਥ ਵੈਲਫੇਅਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਨਵਰੂਪ ਨੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ. ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸਾਗਰ ਤੇ ਕੁ. ਲਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੁਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਾਜ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਕੁ. ਲਾਜ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਾ ਸਿਹਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਤਬਲਾ ਵਾਦਕ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਸੰਨੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
