The ebullient students of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya enjoyed the visit of ‘Rab Da Radio’ fame singer and actor Mr. Tarsem Jassar to their heart’s content. The spirited Principal of the college Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, Mrs. Navroop, Dean Youth Welfare, Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda, Dean Innovations, Dr. Ekta Khosla, Dean Examinations, Mrs. Kuljit Kaur Athwal, Dean Holistic Growth and Mrs. Veena Arora, Dean Outreach Programmes presented a planter and phulkari to Mr. Tarsem Jassar. Mr. Kulbir Jhinjer was also gifted with a planter. The event was organized and coordinated by Mrs. Navroop and Dr. Nidhi Bal. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen conveyed best wishes for the upcoming movie ‘Rab Da Radio 2’ and said that such movies offer a healthy and refined kind of recreation. Very enthusiastically Mr. Tarsem Jassar invited the students to watch his new movie which is grounded in culture and tradition. He made the occasion vibrant by reciting his famous songs. Sh. Amrajit Khanna, Sh. Pankaj Jyoti, Sh. Raman Behl and Sh. Lakhwinder Singh also conveyed wishes for the success of his movie. The stage was hosted by Dr. Nidhi Bal. The members of faculty and non-teaching staff also attended the event.

(ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ) ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ, ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਨਵਰੂਪ ਕੌਰ (ਡੀਨ ਯੂਥ ਫੇਸਟੀਵਲ), ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਏਕਤਾ ਖੋਸਲਾ (ਡੀਨ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ), ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਰਮਨੀਤਾ ਸੈਨੀ ਸ਼ਾਰਦਾ (ਡੀਨ ਇਨੋਵੇਟਿਵ ਸੈਲ), ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਵੀਨਾ ਅਰੋੜਾ (ਸਟਾਫ ਸੈਕਟਰੀ), ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਕੁਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਨਿਧੀ ਬਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਤਰਸੇਮ ਜੱਸਰ, ਕੁਲਬੀਰ ਝਾਂਝਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੈਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਲਾਂਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ³ਜਾਬੀ ਸਭਿਅਤਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਫੁੱਲਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਰਮ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਨਵਰੂਪ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. (ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ) ਨਿਧੀ ਬਲ (ਕੋ-ਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ) ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਿਗਰਾਣੀ ਅਧੀਨ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਤਰਸੇਮ ਜੱਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਹੇਤੂ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ ਅੱਜ ਦੀ ਯੂਵਾ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਸੰਸ´ਿਤ, ਮੁੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਭਿਅਤਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਅਵਸਰ ਤੇ ਤਰਸੇਮ ਜੱਸਰ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਸਭਿਅਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸ´ਿਤ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸÄ ਪੂਰੇ ਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਇਕ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਿਕ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸੁਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਗੀਤ ਗਾ ਕੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਨਾਤਮਕ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸਾਹ ਵਰਧਕ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਗਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਨੱਚੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਰਮਜੀਤ ਖੰਨਾ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪ³ਕਜ ਜੋਤੀ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਮਨ ਬਹਿਲ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਵੀ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਹੇਤੂ ਸ਼ੁੱਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਮੰਚ ਦਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਡਾ.
