An International
Conference on "Rewriting Methodology : Media & Teaching of English in Modern Culture & Society"
is being organised by the PG Deptt. of English of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidalaya
on 19th-20th April, 2019. This International Conference
is being organised in collaboration with ELT@i & fortell. Principal Prof.
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that the Conference will bring together language
experts. Keynote Speaker is Prof. Deepti Gupta, HOD English & Cultural
Studies, PU, Chandigarh. Plenary Talks are being given by Dr. Shrawan & Dr.
Z.N. Patel (Former Professor of English & HOD Training & Development,
EFLU, Hyderabad, President ELT@i Pune Chapter).
Dr. Saiwaroon Chunpavan, Department of Western
Languages, Faculty of Humanities, Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok,
Thailand, Dr. Darshana Sanaraveera, Director, Department of English, National
Institute of Education, Srilanka, Prof. Sirawich Tamparich, Chairperson,
Doctoral Programme in English, Faculty of Humanities, Srinakharinawat
University, Bangkok, Thailand, Mr. Hendriwarts from Indonesia, Motikala Dewan,
President Nelta from Nepal are also a part of this conference.
Convener of the
Conference Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda said that people from Punjab, Haryana,
Himachal Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh & other states are
also participating. The unique thing about this conference is that dialogue has
been given importance & participants will get to be interactive at the
academic front & come up with certain relevant, useful & innovative
ways & means of teaching English as 2nd language not only in
India but also in the other Asian Countries.
