Rukhsat 2019, a farewell party for
postgraduate students was organized at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya under the
able guidance of Principal Prof.
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The programme commenced with the lighting of
lamp and DAV Gaan. Incharge of the event
Mrs. Kuljit Kaur Athwal and Co-Incharge Dr. Sangeeta Arora welcomed Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen with a planter. On
this occasion Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen spoke encouraging words of wisdom. She emphasized upon work is worship and
encouraged the students to leave no stone unturned to come out with flying
colours in their future life. Incharge
of the event Mrs. Kuljit Kaur and Co-Incharge Dr. Sangeeta Arora honoured the
judges of fashion show Dean Academics Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, Dr. Jyoti Gogia and
Dr. Anjana Bhatia by presenting them planters.
The student enthralled the
entire atmosphere with fabulous performances.
The extravaganza witnessed modelling, dance and fun games.
A fashion show was also
organized in which students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. Rashmi won the title of Miss HMV. Surbhi was declared First runner up and
Navdeep was declared Second runner up.
Simranjeet was titled Ms. Gravity and Shailja won the title of Ms.
Technofied. Riya won the title of Ms.
Magnate.
Gulfam Virdi was also honoured
on this occasion. Muskaan came forward
to share her experiences and memories of their beloved seniors. PG Head Girl Gulfam Virdi recollect the
memories of College days. A western song
was performed by Bhanupriya and Ruchi Sang a folk song. Arshdeep mesmerized all by a lovely dance
performance. Cool group also enthralled
the audience with their energetic performance.
Students also performed Bhangra.
Incharge of the event Mrs. Kuljit Kaur encouraged the students to follow
their dreams and seek the blessings of Almighty for their success in future
endeavours. On this occasion, Mrs.
Navroop, Dean Youth Welfare Deptt., Dr. Santosh Khanna, Mrs. Veena Arora, Mrs.
Urvashi Mishra, Dean Student Council and others members of teaching and non
teaching staff were present.
