Mother’s love is a
brilliant gem to be treasured. Keeping
this bonding emotion in mind, the students of HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School
made their mothers feel wonderfully special as they celebrated the most pure
bond ever known to mankind. On this
special day, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen inspired the students
saying that mothers are the emotional backbone of the family, who have the
magic touch to heal all wounds and make all things beautiful. School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal felt
elated while she appreciated the efforts of the students for displaying their
creativity through cards showing their love and respect for their mothers. She also emphasized the truth that a mother
is a teacher, friend, philosopher and guide and students should resort to
ethical ways that make the parents happy and contented. On this occasion, students participated in
card making competition. The competition
was adjudged by Dr. Nidhi Bal, Asstt. Prof. in Hindi, Dr. Rakhi Mehta, Asstt.
Prof. in Fine Arts, Mrs. Divya Chadha, Home Sc. Dept. The students also made
this day most memorable for their teachers and staff by giving them beautiful
cards made by Lisha, Rhythm, Kriti of SSC I.
Amrit from SSC II Commerce got first prize in card making competition,
Sareena, SSC II Commerce won second, Himanshi, SSC I Arts got third prize. Isha, SSC I Arts and Khushi, SSC I Commerce
got consolation prize.
All in all it was an
enjoyable and memorable day for each and every student which left an
indubitable mark on their innocent hearts.
