The workshop on organic
Farming and Vermicomposting was organized by IQAC in Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya for the supporting staff of the college on May 27, 2019. The resource
person Dr. Adarsh Pal addressed the need of shifting from chemical free farming
to organic farming. On the occasion, Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen
inaugurated a unique endeavour of preparing portable Kitchen Gardens. She added
that vermicompost prepared in the college will be used in Portable Kitchen
Gardens and various edible and ornamental plants will be grown.
