A workshop on Banking
Software Finacle was organized by the PG department of Commerce and Management
of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya under the able guidance of Principal Prof.
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen for the students of B.Voc. (Banking and Financial
Services). On this occasion, students visited the circle office of Punjab
National Bank, Jalandhar. Mr. Gagandeep Singh, Manager, Department of
Information Technology, Punjab National Bank, Jalandhar explained the use of
Finacle by banks and its applications such as Core Banking Solutions, account
opening, Treasury solution, and Wealth Management. He also explained the
concepts of Retail Net Banking and Corporate Net Banking and various digital
banking products as well as their practical usage. The workshop ended with a
doubt clearing session. On this occasion, Mr. Guarav, Sr. Marketing Manager,
Punjab National Bank and Ms. Priyanka, Assistant Professor in Commerce
Department were also present. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated
Head of the Department Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur and appreciated the efforts of the
department.
