Two
Days International Punjabi Sahit Utsav is being organized on 4th
& 5th March,2020 by the PG Dpett. Of Punjabi of Hans Raj Mahila
Maha Vidyalaya in collaboration with Punjab Sahit Academy under the able
guidance of Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.
Dr. Surjit Patar, Chairman, Punjab Kala Parishad will inaugurate the Utsav.
The Chief Guest for the session is Sardar Charanjit Singh Channi, Hon’ble
Minister, Cultural Affairs. Shri
Varinder Sharma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar & Mr. Mahesh Chopra,
Hony. Treasurer, DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi will be the Guests
of Honour.
On
the First day, Dr. Harchand Singh Bedi, GNDU, Amritsar will Chair the session. Dr. Dariya, Balbir Parwana, Dr. Parveen
Kumar, Dr. Kuldeep Singh will be the panelists.
Novelist
Manmohan Bawa parallel session will be chaired by. The Chief Guest for the second session is
Davender Raj Ankur, National School of Drama, Delhi and this session is going
to be chaired by Kewal Dhaliwal, President, Sangeet Natak Academy. Dr. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Dean, Punjabi
University, Patiala will chair the parallel session.
The
session will be followed by :Kavi Darbar”. Irshad Kanil, Pal Kaur, Sultana
Begum the importance of Punjabi Language.
On the second day, Editor of Punjabi Jagran Sh. Varinder Walia will be
the Chief Guest & Sh. Darshan Singh Dhillon from U.K. will be the Guest of
Honour. Third sessions alongwith
parallel session are going to be held on the second day of the Utsav.
Book
Exhibition will be organized by several publishers on the second day. The co-ordinators of the Conference are Dr.
