HMV Collegiate Sr. Secondary School organized a Poster
Making Competition through online mode on the occasion of Hindi Divas under the
able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen and School Coordinator
Mrs. Meenakshi Syal. The purpose of this competition was to sensitize students
about the status of Hindi, its development and other issues related to it. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen
congratulated all the staff members on Hindi Divas. She talked about the
importance of Hindi as our main language of the country and encouraged the
students to adopt Hindi in their day to day life.
The students enthusiastically participated in this
competition. They depicted ancient and modern Hindi poets in their posters like
Mirabai, Jai Shankar Prasad and Harivansh Rai Bachan. The students made
beautiful posters of these poets and their poetry. Jasnoor Kaur got 1st,
Megha got 2nd and Shivani got 3rd prize. Mrs. Meenakshi
Syal congratulated the winners and encouraged them to contribute in the
development of Hindi.
