We are living amidst one of the greatest threats
in our life time but there is never a problem that could defeat sunrise or hope
and considering the importance of sharing students’ progress report with the
parents. HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organised the 3-days online meeting
following the protocol to maintain social distance due to the pandemic the
parents were given the time slots and were shared the instructions on how to
connect via Zoom well in advance. The teachers conducted virtual PTM and
discussed students’ academic performance their regularity in attending online
classes and the syllabus covered till date and parents were also asked to
ensure the presence of their ward regularly in virtual classes. Parents truly
appreciated the efforts for this smart and thoughtful initiative taken by
school authorities. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that the
purpose behind conducting this parents meeting was to tell parents about the
strength, weakness and interest of their children. Principal Dr. Sareen also
assured parents that the school will keep puttinig more such endeavors to bring
education to the children in any situation. The parents appreciated the efforts
put in by the school for engaging students in various competitions and webinars
to broaden their mental horizon and providing them the treasure trove of
information online. On this occasion, school coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal
also expressed her concern about students that it is matter of immense
importance to provide education to our students especially when we all are
facing the brunt of COVID – 19 . She further added that school will leave no
stone unturned for the overall development of our children.
