Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya paid tribute to Mahatma
Anand Swami ji on his death anniversary. The college organised a debate
competition on the topic “Life and teachings of Mahatma Anand Swami ji and
Relevance of Teachings of Arya Samaj in Modern Scenario”. Km. Ronika, Km.
Ishpreet and Km. Drishti got first, second and third prize respectively. The
students also recited Bhajans and Mantras. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen
said that some personalities are so great that they give us immense happiness
and peace. She said that swami ji was like neelkanth. He always gave the
message of “smile always” and he always did selfless service. His every book is
full of knowledge. She said that Mahatma Anand Swami ji is a source of
inspiration for all of us.
Dean Vedic Adhyayan Society Mrs. Mamta said that his
personality is real source of inspiration for all of us. Head of Sanskrit
Department Dr. Meenu Talwar discussed the books written by Swami ji and shared
his teachings with the help of a small story. Principal Dr. Sareen
congratulated the winners and encouraged the students to be a part of such
events.
