An online foundation course in Medicinal
Herbs is going to start from 27th October, 2020 at Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya, Jalandhar. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that this
course is a golden opportunity for all the students who got free from their
final year exams and are waiting for their results. She further added that such
courses provide a great insight
into the healing power of plants, focussing on safe and readily accessible
herbs and plants to bring together a practical look at the compounds in plants
and how these give rise to plant health benefits. Dr Anjana Bhatia,
Head, PG Department of Botany said that the one week course is free of cost and
will be conducted online in the evening from 5pm to 6pm. In the course, virtual
herbal walks will be carried out for the students. Only limited seats are
available and link for registration can be found at the social media sites, facebook
page of Hans Raj Mahial Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar. The registrations are open.
However, only 100 participants will be taken up at a time.
