Arvinpreet Kaur, a student of M.Sc Bioinformatics of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyala, Jalandhar has successfully completed 2 month online Summer Research Training Program from Center for Scientific and Industrial Research- North Eastern Institute of Science and Technology (CSIR-NEIST), Jorhat, Assam. She worked on Proteomic analysis of Pseudomonas pseudoalcaligenes which acts as a powerful bioremedient to clean certain types of harmful substances from the environment under the guidance of Dr. Ashutosh Kumar. Also various Eminent Scientist lectures and lectures on other various modules used to held daily under the supervision of director NEIST, Dr. G. Narahary Sastry. She has received the certificate of completion with A grade from the institution. Principal Prof. Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated the student and teachers of the department. HOD Dr. Harpreet Singh said that Ms. Arvinpreet Kaur has completed her training online in lockdown period. Mrs. Purnima, Assistant Prof. said that bioinformatics is the only field in which you can do practical online training. They also congratulated Ms. Arvinpreet Kaur.
