Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya has worked diligently for the past 94
years to realize the dream of women empowerment. HMV is offering so many
skilled courses to students in order to make them independent in life. Keeping
in view the importance of Skill courses, HMV is offering many skill oriented
courses, i.e., B.Voc., M.Voc. and Ph.D. course to make its students confident
and ahead of times. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen said that future era
is the era of skilled youth. HMV is offering many skilled courses to make its
students future ready. She said that traditional courses are equivalently good
but B.Voc. and M.Voc. courses gives you additional benefits. The students get
the certification from Sector Skill Council of India as well along with the
degree from the university. Moreover there is multi entry and multi exit
provision also. For these courses, the college has collaborated with industry
for the syllabus up gradation and training of the students so that the students
are prepared according to the needs of the industry. Principal Dr. Sareen said
that the college is offering Ph.D. in Multimedia and Design, M.Voc. in Mental
Health and Counselling, Web Technology and Multimedia, Cosmetology and
Wellness, B.Voc. in Journalism and Media, Mental Health and Counselling,
Fashion Technology, Cosmetology and Wellness, Web Technology and Multimedia,
Banking and Financial Services, Yoga and Fitness and E-Commerce and Digital
Marketing. She said that B.Voc. Degree is at par with other Bachelor level
degree as per UGC guidelines. The B.Voc. students are assessed by Sector Skill
Council of India. There is no age bar for these courses. These courses have
great future ahead as these are designed as per the needs of the industry.
