45 days NCC Republic Day Training Camp of Jalandhar Group
was being organised at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya under the guidelines of
Group Commander Brig. Advitya Madan, CO Col. Hitesh Duggal of 21 BN Kapurthala
and CO Col. NPS Toor of 2 Pb. Girls BN NCC Jalandhar. The send off and best
wishes ceremony for the selected team which will march on 22nd
November for DCATC (RDC) at Ropar has been organised at HMV. On this occasion,
Brig. Advitya Madan honoured Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen with Group
Commanders Appreciation Certificate for providing impetus to NCC activities. He
also gave Group Commanders Appreciation Certificate to the college for
excellent contribution in 45 days NCC Republic Day Training Camp of Jalandhar
Group. ANO Lt. Sonia Mahindru from HMV, ANO Lt. Ashu Dhawan from APS Jalandhar
Cantt, CTO Amandeep from LPU and Sr. GCI Sandeep, Sr. GCI Parvati Chauhan from
2 Pb (G) BN were also honoured with Group Commanders Appreciation Certificate
for training Best Cadet in the camp. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and
Lt. Sonia Mahindru thanked Group Commander Brig. Madan. Principal Dr. Sareen
appreciated the efforts put up by Cadets and Jalandhar Group Team. She also
said that such training camps should be organised in future also to increase
confidence in cadets. On this occasion, Major Pratima Adm. Officer of 2 Pb.
Girls BN NCC, Jalandhar was also present.
