With a view to cultivate respect for relationships and developing a sense of social service, HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organized guest lecture on the topic ‘Spirit of Social Service and Respect for Relationships’ under the dynamic guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The eminent guest speaker of the event was Ms. Abha Nagar, Advocate Punjab and Haryana High Court and renowned social worker. The event commenced lamp lightening ceremony followed by Gayatri Mantra. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen accorded formal welcome to the guest and also appreciated the initiative taken up by the school coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal to organize such informative lectures for students where they can learn the basic life skills apart from their curriculum. She further added that it is respect and trust that can either make or break a relationship. Ms. Abha Nagar apprised students about social service that it enables them to grow with whatever they do for their society and country. She also motivated students to be confident with their decisions. During the interactive session, she also answered the queries by the students and the students also participated in this session actively. School coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal honoured the guest by presenting seed bouquet and certificate of appreciation. There after she accorded the vote of thanks.
