Design Department conducted a market survey with Interior Design Specialization
Students in Local Jalandhar Market. Students visited Wholesalers, Distributors
and Producers of Interior Design and construction Materials, along with faculty
member Ms. Harpreet Kaur. Students got knowledge of Window Blinds, Wallpapers,
Laminates, Plywood and Hardware Accessories etc. Students interacted with
expert Sh. Navpreet Singh H.A Traders, Sh. Jasvinder Singh of Arora Ply Palace, Jalandhar
and many more. Students got Information
about Latest Wallpapers, Window Blinds Hard and Soft Flooring Materials, Carpets
with price details. Experts explained about latest designs of Ply wood,
Laminates and Hardware Accessories. Information was very helpful for students
to understand currents designs available in market and how to use all products
in Interior world. Students discussed with positive and negative aspects with
experts, craftsmen’s and with the helpers. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen appreciated the efforts of Design Department and said that HMV always
impart education to its students as per the requirement of the industry.
